Chris Brown, F.orgive A.ll M.y E.nnemies, is exactly what I expected perhaps even more. Chris teamed up with the hottest artists and producers of today, such as whiz kalifa, Lil Wayne, Kevin Mccall, Tyga, Justin Bieber, Timbaland, Ludacris, The Game and even Busta Rhymes.
I can’t compare this work from the previous ones as I only know the few hits he had but even there you can hear the evolution of young Chris trying to make it to the top versus the Chris currently on top.
Not only did he deliver a solid vocal performance but also the fun into the recording. Something else that I was impressed with, his writing, comparing to some of his previous slow jams, these ones were well put together. From his Dance, to mid tempo to complete with dance. I do find he was a bit too cocky but I suppose he has reasons to be and after all the album is directed towards his haters? You’ve got it all packed into the 17 tracks album for the deluxe and 12 for the standard. It was hard to pick my top 3 as i literally loved every track off the album besides ‘Beautiful People’. It’s a pop in and play type of album. On the other hand, some guys would probably comment that this is a “girls” album a lot of these tracks are towards women but If “a true” man takes a listen, He will get the message between the lines.
Beg For It
Ladies, This mid tempo track is to play when you’re with your man!” Girl what you’re saying, Speak your mind! Girl, show me what you like! I’ma make you beg for it,Beg for it!I’ma do what you need, Only if you say please!”
Deuces Feat Tyga and Kevin Mcnall.
Although I really loved the remix version with fabulous, T.I, Drake, Andre 3000 etc, It took me a few listen to really enjoy this one, beat is on point, the lyrics and flow. The men will definitely releate to this one and the ladies can jam to it.
Bomb feat Wiz Kalifa
Another one in which he raps “body like a monster , Let me get inside if ya booty I’ma conquer ,If ya question about my size, I give you the answer.” The rhymes are silly and the beat is the bomb. Guess he named it right lol. Cocky alright.
Over all It’s an amazing Cd, I’ve missed these type of records and Chris Brown hit all the important notes for a great album. Again, I don’t think It will be for everyone, I totally enjoy the pop crossover he did with some of these tracks but I’de definitely advise anyone to take a listen. It is currently number one on charts and It’s well deserved. Go Grab it, you won’t be disappointed. After all Chris been through and this work proves that he took his time with this one and this is coming from an Anti-breezy fan lol.
