Lil Wayne’s baby mother, Nivea, was reportedly caught driving under the influence after Wayne’s ex-wife’s reception when she crashed into a tree with a baby and shouting profanity at hte police officers.
She was booked at the Fulton Country Correctional Facility at around 1h30am and TMZ reports that she had “bloodshot,glassy eyes and smelled like alcohol”.
Nivea however denies being drunk, maintains she had only 3 drinks and that she didn’t see the yellow crime tape and traffic cones and kept driving not seing the tree that had fallen into the road. She tweeted.
“I NEVER said what ppl r saying I said to/about the cop by the way.Its just unfortunate how the Media & Law can be used against you when you don’t know enough about the way they work. Again, thnx 4 all the love. And one more thing, I WAS NOT DRINKING AND DRIVING, the accident was Not due to me being intoxicated. Just wanted to clear that.”
I did have my doubts about Nivea being so careless, but only now they mention the tree in the middle of the road, they made it sound like she just hit a tree on the side of the road.
