Malcolm D. Lee, the producer of 1999′s hit movie “The Best man” has revealed on twitter that the sequel is officially a go.
Universal Studios is taking care of the bill while LEE is set to write , direct and produce it. The original case members, Nia Long, Sanaa lathan, Regina Hall and Monica Calhoon are all interesting in reprising their roles.
No words for Taye Diggs, morris Chestnut, Harold Perrineau and Terrence Howard on whether they will be returning. Filming is set to begin spring of 2012.
