Walter watches Peter’s machine and goes to meet with the Fringe team from the other side. He explains to the teams that Jones is attempting to collapse both universes which would result into a big bang. He believes Jones wants to create a universe where he is God. A woman looks at her watch, while 3 others do the same, looking for specific coordinate. They concentrate and create major earthquakes.
They quizzes him how they could stop him. Only then everyone receive calls about the same event happening at the same time. Walter understands that if Jones creates the earthquake at specific locations enough times, It will destroy the world.
Back on the other side, Lincoln gets a visitor, Nick, who tells him about visions like he was in the middle of it but yet was home. Lincoln calls Olivia to tell her about Alternate Nick having the vision, Olivia’s shock and realizes the ones who are triggering the earthquakes are all Cortexiphan subjects. Walter realizes that Jones is using the subject from one side to telepathically connect to their alternate to cause both worlds to vibrate at the same frequency to create the earthquakes. Peter asks Walter if the machine could make it easier which Walter agrees, he then suggest, they shut off the machine. Everyone is against it as they know it’s healing the other world, Olivia proposes to use Alternate Nick to see through the eyes of Nick and arrest him to stop Jones.
They get him in custody however the earthquakes are still happening. Olivia attempts to get him to tell them where Jones is, she reminds him that Jones is using them and doesn’t care about them. He refuses to believe it. He believes he’s trying to save this world and destroy the alternate world, Olivia attempts to get him to see her point of view, that the two worlds are allies and they are healing it. He seems troubled and agrees to bring them to Jones. They arrive and realize Nick set them up, when they come back to the car, he’s no where to be found. They all go to the bridge, share their last emotional goodbyes and advices. Lincoln decides to stay with the Alternate side, Walternate and Walter share their appreciation for one an another. They wait for the machine to reach 100% and shuts it off.
