I didn’t post this news until I had gathered as much information as I could. I’m sure by now most people heard of Luka Rocco Magnotta, an aspirant porn star, bisexual, escort, who’s career never really reached stardom. His real name is,Eric Clinton Kirk Newman, also known as, Vladimir Romanov, Mattia Del Santo and probably other names we don’t know yet.
After the killing, he fled to Paris but left traces behind. There were pictures of him at the airport. He was arrested in Germany after he went to an Internet cafe to watch video reports on himself and porn. When the 7 police officers came to arrest him, he attempt to deny It was him but was quick to simply tell them “You got me” and surrendered quiet easily. He will be deported back to Canada for his trial, he did not, nor could he contest his extradition, as he had no case.
A bit of information on the whole case, as you know, I’m passionate about these type of criminal case.
On May 25th, Rocca chained who seems to be his gay lover, Jin Lin, a student at Concordia university in Computer science, rumored to have wanted to break up with him, to a bed. He video taped himself, doing most of the crime. On the video we can see the naked man, moving in bed, after a few second, he probably shut off the camera, we see the man, motionless and he stabs him a few time with an ice pick. I originally thought, It was fake.. He then removes the cover of the man’s head, to reveal he had started beheading him. He continues by cutting off each limbs with what seems to be a kitchen knife and after doing so feeling himself with one of the limbs. He flipped the body and had sex with it, but even that I can’t confirm from the video, it could be just an act. You don’t actually see him visibly entering but it could just be the quality of the video. He is also seen cutting off pieces of the butt and ‘eats’ it however you can’t see him actually eating it, it could be just ‘pretending’. He welcomes a dog to come chew at the body. He finished the 10 minutes video with photos of the body.
He then sent one body part to Conservative Party of Canada which did arrive to destination and the other part was intercepted by Canada post. He did attach a note, saying there would be more body parts and that It wouldn’t be the last one. The torso was found behind an apartment building in Notre Dame De grace. It was later confirmed that other body parts reached a school, St. George’s School and another to False Creek Elementary School in Vancouver, It’s unknown whether It is Jin Lin’s.
He was arrested years prior, for fraud and raping a woman and video taped himself using kitten and killing them. He video taped those crime too. One he put the kitten in a bag and sucked the air out of the bag with a vacuum. Another kitten he fed to a Python. He had written a letter and sent it to a newspaper in which he had mention he would be using humans next and that the cop would not catch him as he’s always one step ahead of him. It was rumored that he had a relationship with Karla Homolka which was withdrawn later but that could be due to all the legal matters regarding Karla who left the country years ago for the islands with her husband and child. They are also reviewing old murder cases to see If he could be connected to them.
You can find the video online, however the authorities are considering charging the web owner who made it available to be watched and download, despite the authorities removing them. The head is still missing.

First degree murder, Committing an indignity to a dead body, Publishing obscene material, Mailing “obscene, indecent, immoral or scurrilous” material and Criminally harassing Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and several (unnamed) members of Parliament.
In related news, his ex, a transgendered, reached out to the magazine to talk about her relationship with Luka, his/her first. She explained that he often joked about killing animals , planned on killing humans and would love to kill his family. He/she continued that he loved James Dean, Madonna, would slapped his face in the shower and took methamphetamine (a strong drug).
“He would say, ‘I’m scared when you look into my eyes and see the emptiness.’ In my view, he is extremely disturbed” said Madam Arsenault.
