According to HiphopDX, Beanie Sigel is another one who seem to have either bad judgement or bad accountant and failed to pay more than $728,000 in federal income tax.
After failing to do so, he was sentenced to spend two years in pen for failing to file taxes between 1999 and 2005 to which he pleaded guilty in August 2011.
This isn’t the first time Beanie has issues with the law, in 2004 he was sentenced to up to 3 years in prison for gun and drugs possession then in 2008 for violating his parole three times and he still has another case pending from a shooting incident outside of Philly in 99.
He still plans on releasing his album before turning himself in confirms the head of the Ruffhouse record label.
“Regardless of this unfortunate situation, Beanie has created a tremendous body of work that is totally worthy of the Ruffhouse name and he takes total responsibility but does blame family members for mismanaging money from 2004 to 2005, while he was incarcerated on drug and weapons charges”
He has to report to prison by September 12th.
