Janet Jackson - Discipline Review

Janet Jackson 10th studio album has been long awaited since knowing that she would be teaming up with some of the greatest producers in the industry. Just to name a few: Rodney Jerkins, Ne-Yo,Terry 'The Maddscientist' Thomas, Jermaine Dupri, Stargate, Tricky Stewart, The dream and much more. With all the drama in her life with the Super bowl, her previous album 20 Y.o Flopping hard, the 41 years old Lady still managed to deliver another Classic.

I was just impressed to find out that there was 22 tracks on the album! Now that's the only album (in a while) that I've seen with so many tracks of course including some Interludes. She brought back the old school type of cds. If you order it from Itune you get Two extra tracks and A Dvd including the making off Feedback and other extras. I was already blown away from the other tracks that were released and leaked but the rest of the album is as good. By Now with her Listening party That Dancehallareaz.com staff attended you should know that the album was concentrated on Love and Sex. Like she said it in her Interlude : "Love The one thing that keeps you up and keeps you down and spinning you round and round like a rollercoaster, hence The Title of her other Single, Even tho the media has been saying that her single feedback hasn't been doing so well in the charts I'm still sure this album will score.

I had a very hard time to pick my top 4 tracks cause i could just pop the Cd in and just listen from first track to the last one. My First pick was her track titled "Greatest X" which was produced by The Dream. She singing about that even tho they didn't worked out that even dating other people she still looking for what he had in The other guy so she proclaimed him the greatest ex Ever. I loved it, she sang it so softly and sweet no unnecessary screaming even tho she's not known for that either. I can tell The dream produced this one, it has his trademark.

My Second Pick is Never Letchu Go Which i think is probably dedicated to Jermaine Dupri. This one is so sweet. Ladies and guys if you want to swept your better half of their feet, On valentine's day (even tho it's passed) sing this song. She basically sings about what she loves about him isn't perfect, names what she loves about him, that she loves him more then life could say this is the reason she never want to let him go. If something is wrong let her fix it if something's lost she'll go and get it. Accompanied by a nice melody. And this one was produced by Jermaine Dupri Too, What does that tell you?

Now after all those slow songs she hits us with some good old Janet type of dancing song with So Much Better where she sings about her having enough of being number two and she can do better, that he can do better with her and she'll prove it. I love the beat and the Mix they did on this one.

And then goes back in the time with "Curtains". This reminded me so much of the old school track back in Motown time. In this one she's saying it's time to close the curtains to basically enjoy each other.

There are so many good tracks that I'de have to put up the whole album for you guys to get a proper feel of the evolution of Janet. Seems like the album was separated in three, Sweet Love making, heartbreak Then Here comes the party. There's One track i hated tho was the one featuring Missy "The 1". That one was just pure noise to my ears. Through the Entire album you can tell that even tho Janet's age is going up she still has the young mentality. This is what will keep her in the game.

I finally understood the choice of the cover since in most of the interlude you hear her talking to a computer that controls everything (like in the future and Will Smith's Movie I Robot) in her house from radio, To everything really. So the Cover basically projects the Future. I knew the message behind the cover wasn't simple probably why barely any of us liked it at first, but is anything with The Jacksons ever simple?

She describe perfectly how to love one another and how to booty shaking too. I was really amazed And Guys you Have to cop that album, don't just bootleg it. She has it going on, She delivered an amazing acting in why did i get married and used all of those experience to bring you "Discipline", like she said, in life, love everything you'll need Discipline to make everything work Even in the bedroom. So Guys Get the album don't bootleg this one. Let's prove to everyone that at least ONE of the Jackson still got it.
