Queen Ifrica AKA the Fyah Mumma is back with her sophomore album entitled Welcome to Montego Bay. The Album kicks off with the chant "TTPNC". The album then moves to the upbeat title track "Welcome to Montego Bay". Soon after she belts out my favourite track on the album "Lioness on the Rise"* which speaks of the power of women. This album is a combination of love tunes like "Far Away" and "In my Dreams" along with conscious rastatunes like "Yad to the East" evenly balanced with social commentaries like "Keep it to Yourself", "Daddy", and "Streets are Bloody"

This album is basically classic Ifrica and all Ifrica (no features). She brings her distinctive sound which has made her the top female culture artist(imo). My only gripe with this compilation is that there were only 12 tracks +1 bonus. I really think there could/should have been more.

My recommendation = get it
