Looking at that sideway smile
Seeing that little twinkle in his eyes So compelling yet so gentle So magnetic, so mesmerizing To me I’m drawn into the realization that I cant, But neither do I want to look away A sigh escapes me… How can something so simple make me feel this way? Nothing else matters Everything else seem so mundane… Time floats on by And I wonder Does he know…does he realize The effect that smile…That look Has on me Does he know the sweet torturous warmth of a plunging heart… I’m thinking… But deep down I know …I so love this feeling… This continuous feeling… The daily banter Playful words exchanged with the ease Of the affectionate tease Culminating in laughter How many times have I hushed my own laughter Just to allow my mind to listen and absorb his So clear, so exquisitely free Bursting with the delight of that which is real It pours out embracing me Soothing me, transforming me Into the essence of me And again I wonder Does he know what his laughter does to me… makes me feel… How I close my inner eyes and allow it to just flow over Thoughts of forever filling me Intense reaction From you From me And I’m thinking Let time float on by It has no meaning No limitations on the pleasure I’m feeling Lord knows I love this feeling Continuous feeling… Blue |
