Stuck Inside

Later that day the sun shone bright
The lads kept working on the large city cite
The drills hurt her ears but she still heard the screams
Of the children running for the cool ice-cream

But not today as she sat inside
Wondering what caramel tastes like
And a choc-ice filled with strawberry cream
It was now when she wanted to blaspheme

Stuck inside because her coursework’s due
But unlike her friends she had a clue
So planned to work all through the night
Think about that goal and enjoy the moonlight

thanks guys, well it does feel good to let stuff out in apoem. strangely I only seem to write stories about other people but poems about myself. Dont know why. oh well
