I was in the shadows,
blind to his glow,
whenever i stared in those eyes,
i only saw darkness,
it pierces me,
aches my heart,
weaken my entire being,
is this the monster that i adored?
is this the man that i've loved?
is this the criminal that captured my heart?
hell hath no fury like the evil he spits at me,
just one deadly look,
I was in the shadows,
couldn't look pass his midnight eyes,
his winter gaze,
his coldness was unforgiving,
his evil energy engolfs me,
i was trapped in the shadow,
fighting to get out,
but his mighty hands grabbed me by the neck,
my whole life flashed before my face,
this man is evil,
the devil himself,
i was in the shadows,
blinded by his disguise,
for some reason,
i felt like this is the real him,
he felt comfortable in this situation,
i was in the shadows,
out of my comfort zone,
i was in fact....the prey,
atleast i lived to tell my story,
did he?.................
