I saw that movie when i went to get my nail done. Its a mel gibson production its basically about two Maya crew fight each other kill til Jagwa is able to hide his pregnant wife and his kid and sees his father gets killed. They bring them to another area to do some dirty work and the female gets sold for either sex or labor. So he has to pull through and fight everyone to go back to his family. It is REALLY a raw movie you see everything happening from breaking bones, cut neck etc etc. That movie actually makes you sit there and watch. the whole time i was getting my nails done my eyes didn't leave the screen. if you don't have a sensitive heart go rent it. Its really worth it.

Omg I loooved this movie…its just the type of stuff I like…so many dimensions to this movie…u have the ancient civilization…the interactions between men…between the men and their wives…then between this one particular group of ppl and others groups…the interaction with that group and its God…in other words it tell u and shows u why these ppl did things a certain way…and what was important to them..it makes u realize that human being are human beings no matter where they come from…the things we wd do for family, honor, and respect and also the things we do for whatever god we worship and for our civilization that includes the almighty dollar…but yes I loved this movie the setting was beautiful the costumes were magnificent…there is absolutely no slow parts in this movie...it keeps the adrenaline pumping..lol
EDIT...IT IS DONE ENTIRELY IN MAYA LANGUAGE SO U WILL HAVE TO READ SUBTITLES..BUT IM TELLING U THE ACTORS ARE SO GREAT THAT U DONT REALLY HAVE TO..JUST BY LOOKING AT THEM U KNOW WHAT THEY ARE SAYING...  Last edited by BlueLuv2; 05-31-2007 at 03:10 PM. |

Tell me about it lol i had to ask the poor asian man twice the name of the movie to write it down and get it lol its my kind of movie as well but i dunno Mel gibson knows just how to get ppl's attention in movies.
Can u tell me what the hell the mom was putting on the boys leg that was hurt? spiders? |

the only thing i found fake about this....was the whole pregnant wife part....dat woman dropped NUFF times and either she tuff dan tree bark or she got super human strength and healing powers....cuz she dint fall no 1 or 1+1 feet....she DROPPED, and no complications.

well uknow they said that our ancestors used to have less complication then us.....other ppl say pregnant women are not as fragile as we believe and also i've heard that what makes women so weak to loosing kids now a days is all these pills we take and the kind of food, chemicals etc...same as infertility problem for men...back in the days men used to impregnant girls like it was nothing lol
