Movie Reviews Feel The Noise Review

Its the story of Rob played by Omarion who is trying to be a rapper. He steals an mp3 player from the wrong kid and then later gets shot at while his performing on stage because of it. His mom is so frighten decides to send him to Puerto Rico to live with his dad that he has never met before and actually thought was dead. His Dad is also a musician. He meets up with this girl name CC who has a crazy ex boyfriend who still think they are together. He even goes as far to make Rob pay for supposedly stealing his girl, like beating up his Dad's wife. CC's feeling Rob.. Rob Teems up with CC, his step brother to make it to the top and become famous.

I ain't feeling the movie. Reggaeton is alright but i was never a a big fan of it, the dances wasn't hot either i expected a lot better from the commercials espacially having Jenifer Lopez Directed it and her being such a great performer. The movie is a little low budget as well. The point of the movie is pretty much the same as any other gangsta/rapper movie. A little love, family,trouble here and there. Picking Omarion wasn't the best choice he isn't the best actor. I believe picking a real Spanish actor would have felt different. The actress CC wasn't into it enough as it felt plastic like she wasn't feeling what she was acting about, i couldn't sense her feelings neither her torment in the movie. i see this movie more as a promotion for Reggaeton music, for the singers like Voltio etc. Just save your money and wait til this movie comes on cable it ain't worth it unless your a really HUGE fan of Reggaeton and is in love with Omarion.

It's a good chill movie. If you appreciate many different kinds of music, you will appreciate it. I, myself, and part Puerto Rican, so I was like this is wassup. I like reggaeton. Omarion didn't do that bad of a job. If I could relate it to a movie...I would choose Hustle-n-Flow in that the main characters are trying to fulfill their dreams in music. Also, I think J-Lo did this movie to bring some attention to Reggaeton.

Now, I do agree, the dancing CANNOT be compared to that of Dancehall. There is no comparison.

See i enjoy many different kind of music...like batchata, other kind of spanish music, a little rock, pop etc...and i also love dancing it. I love to dance as well. music is my life....but reggaeton is just pure noise (well the ones from the movie)...they picked the title right "feel the noise" thats what reggaeton in the movie felt like. I heard other Reggaeton songs and they sounded better. i believe if they could have pick someone else then Omarion...the movie would have been better...The girl who plays CC you can't even feel that she's "acting" nothing is natural in her...Nothing was smooth...everything felt "forced" and "planned" you see what im saying?

I could compare to when jlo did that movie where she was getting beat up by her husband, Enough, it was different you can feel her pain and everything through the screen u know? Even from the Movie selena...

Now if you compare to Save the last dance..Hustle and flow,Step up you'll feel what im saying thats why i ain't rating the movie....they could have worked a little more on the dancing i know some people who dance reggaeton and its sick but them i dunno Jlo can dance she should have did the whole choreography...
