The book was serious the author knew exactly how to keep our mind working while reading. Through the entire book i knew it was about cheating, a bit typical you would say but it wasn't, She knew exactly how to describe to make you mind wonder like is that really it? Omg no? Then she delivered the ultimate punch and i was like wow i was so wrong. Quite a lot of suspense. The feeling were amazingly described. Each step of what a family goes through when one has hidden skeleton in there closet. I felt sorry for Lesli at time and angry that she couldn't understand why they had a hard time to understand and even angrier at the husband who kept making her feel worst while he was dogging her. It also opened my eyes on why some trouble teen turn to child pornography or anything along the lines and what the family goes through. When u think u finally figured it out she delivers the final blow. wow intense reading. what really attract me to the book was the cover nicely and peacefully design and a title like the great betrayal definitely spiked my curiosity. Don't get fooled by the Peaceful looking cover you're in for a roller coaster ride. A real love, heartbroken story of a woman that not many people could understand. I cant talk to much about it without selling the book but put this one in the must read!
