One Missed Call Movie Review · Posted : 04-10-2008, 01:36 PM

Marie Layton has two children. Everyone believes she is mistreating her kids, cutting them,burning them etc. She brings one of her youngest daughter Laurel while her oldest one dies from an asthma attack. That night the hospital caught in fire and she dies but luckily her daughter survives. They never found her body. Mysterious things has been happening cell phone don't ring but you get a voice mail with a date and a time with a voice mail of yourself screaming,crying etc. That same time and date you die. Police just think it's a coincidence but Beth sees herself loosing each friends and tries to explain but people don't believe her but one cop Jack who also lost his sister in those same circumstances. They will team up to get to the bottom of this. til it becomes personal and she as well has a time and a day to figure out the mystery. What you see is not always what you should believe. A Nanny Camera might save the day and clear someone's name. Who will put a stop to all the killing?

The movie was alright. There was a previous american version back in 2004 titled same way and a part two in 2006. The end they really flip the script properly it was nice but besides that the movie was way too long for what it was about. The actors did a good job still. Really what got me interested was seeing Meagan Good in one of the screen shots but don't get too hyped up, she is the first one to die at the beginning. The end's special effect were nicely done. Through the entire movie i was wondering why a cell phone and i didn't figure it out til the whole truth came out which is a good but then again i haven't seen the other Asian horror flicks titled Chakushin Ari. One week-end you're bored you'll somewhat enjoy the movie but ONLY if you are bored. The cover of the movie was the most interesting part of it all.

ye dem same one... i usedta jus swing by and watch movies, they had ones wit dvd quality and ish... and i wud get ma missed smallville episodes there too ... i think last movie i got from them was vantage point then havent been on for a while and BAM! its gone

... found another source but its sill not da same
