Just in the 1st few minutes of the the episode i love, Michael Knight has to get some info about this guy names Sean Owens. His two henchmen are Johnny and Ian Chang who have a record of violence and criminal records, Michael has to infiltrate without causing a scene. When he gets to their normal hang out at a bar they are nowhere to be seen. Michael runs into Ian's girlfriend Celine Lea.l Ian comes and interrupts the conversation and other than fighting they decide to street race,Mike obviously wins but ends up blowing the engine by having K.I.T.T transform in mid-air, and Ian's car blows up as well by hitting into a pick up truck.

When Mike comes for his pink slipped car he discovers that there wasn't much left, Sara brings K.I.T.T back, to Johnny's surprise it's fixed,Mike tries to come to an agreement to become Johnny's driver, not liking the idea he says for Mike to come back to the bar so he can think about it. Michael returns with Sara back to the bar, Michael leaves Sara with an old army friend of his while he talks to Celine, K.I.T.T warns Michael about Ian who tries to attack him with a knife, Mike evades and throws him to have Johnny point a gun to his chest telling him, he accepts the offer under one condition, Michael has to steal his own car to race.

After further investigation Team Knight comes up with another suspect Dimitri Kasporov, the Russian "Hugh Heffner", Sara has to then get in a bikini so she can get closer to Kasporov. When Michael find where Johnny's car is he needs to find a way to steal it and K.I.T.T (the high tech car that he is) creates a duplicate key. Sara walks the grounds by Micheals direction so she can get the car until Kasporov catches her, she kicks his a$$ with ease and they escape with the car.

Once Mike and Sara return to the bar where they have to meet Johnny, Michael's tattoo rubs against K.I.T.T and gets scanned with all of his background, Johnny walks towards them and the only thing that Sara could do,so they wouldn't find out that the supposed dead man was actually alive. She makes out with Michael on the hood of the car so it could disappear. Michael confronts Alex to find out why he erased the info from K.I.T.T's memory. Charles gets upset at both Michael and Alex for having his daughter Sara steal the car and risk her life.

The race is on it's a Ford Mustang (K.I.T.T) Vs. a Ford GT, Sara spots Ian speak to this unknown guy, so she follows and finds out who the supplier is, his name is Robert Bellows who supplies them weapons for exportation, and the way they get them smuggled is they are built right into the cars GPS, Ian spots Sara and holds her at gun point, through her glasses communicator she shows Mike that Ian has her hostage, he abandons the race to go and rescue her. Sara was able to get herself out of harms way, Michael is still searching for Sara gets knocked out by Johnny with a pipe.

After waking up from his beauty sleep he realizes that he is neck deep in sand, Sara tries everything possible to find Michael and to no prevail she has to go back to the bar and get Michael's army friend Sean, who knows where Johnny took him, to the Bay Side. Now that Sara and Sean are going to rescue Michael the fun begins, Sean finds out who K.I.T.T really is and how he can transform into a 4x4, they stop the Changs and Sara digs Michael out of the sand trap, to get forearmed in the face by Sean who turns side for the money and has Michael deactivate K.I.T.T.

At Knight headquarters they were able to track down Michael, Sara and K.I.T.T's location through cell phone reception and satelite signals and were able to get him turned back on, Ian was beating Michael until he turned the tables, Johnny realized what was going on and was about to shoot Michael, who shot Ian instead. Michael used Ian as a human shield,to then fight off Johnny, got Sara out of harms way and began to chase Sean who was trying to escape, not too long after he ran out of road and plunged down off a cliff to his death.

Back at Knight Headquarters K.I.T.T and Michael talk about the meaning friendship over a cowboy movie and explained that Sean was his best friend to end the show.
