Casey one morning has her eyes changing colors from Black to blue. She goes to see an optometrist who tells her that her eyes are fine and asked her if she had a twin cause she seem to be showing sign of a condition only twins suffer when blood gets transferred from one womb to another. She does find out from her dad that she had one but her umbilical cord killed her baby brother. She lost her mother at a young age, she hanged herself in her mental institution. Strange things are happening, her seeing a boy in the mirror etc. She investigates and finds out that she is possessed by dybbuk which is the soul of a dead person barred from heaven, who possessed her great uncle while they were doing some unethical testing back in the concentration camp where he died and got possessed. She has to find a way to get rid of it. She will get help from dear friend, family and boyfriend but at what cost? How will she get rid of the Dybbuk. The Jumby wants to be reborn.
The movie wasn't too bad. I didn't fully expect what i got. The effects where tight, filmed by Micheal Bay, the same who produced Transformers he lived up to his name. Everything looked real. Megan Good was in it and also Idris Elba is a part of the cast. He did a great acting. But what really bothered me in the entire movie is the end. Both me and my cousin when we saw the credit we were like what? that's it? barely an hour and a half. I was left wanting more. For a scary movie there wasn't enough but barely two scenes for about less then 5 minutes. The point of the movie was nicely put, the story line wasn't too bad, too easy to follow and unpredictable. They didn't beat around the bush straight to the point. But there could have been more. Not enough. Nonetheless it's a movie to rent, i had fun making fun of them. I do believe it should have been called the "Re Born" tho. You should expect a part two soon.
