Discussion Common In Green Lantern Upcoming Movie?

For the past year and a half, rapper/actor Common has been rumored to be up for the role of the Green Lantern in Warner Bros.' upcoming 'Green Lantern' film, which was originally dubbed as 'Justice League of America.' According to the newest reports, however, Common has officially been taken off the project.

The film, which will be directed by Martin Campbell of 'Casino Royale' fame, was originally scripted to center around the "John Stewart" Green Lantern, who was depicted as black in the comic book. Both Common and Tyrese were rumored to be up for the role, with Common most likely in the lead.

Didn't know about this GL film? . . . most I really know about Green Lantern is that he's black

. . .not much else honestly don't remember him much from my cartoon days

i only seen him in Mk Vs Dc lol i dont' remember a thing about him
