Go an 18 years old boy who trains regularly with his grand pa. His grand pa keeps telling him that he will have to have faith in himself. He goes to school gets bullied til one day he decides it's enough, of course does not fight them just esquive their attacks. Piccolo's back and will stop at nothing to find all the dragon ball for his personal gain. Goku will have to find it within him to fight Piccolo, to prevent him from destroying the world. Some truth will come out and he will allied with few people he will meet down the road. Friendship and Faith always prevails.

The movie wasn't as bad as i thought so but still bad enough not to send anyone to watch it. If you're a real dragon ball (original) fan then you will be totally disappointed. The actors acting was just plain bad. The special effects were poor, awfully low budget. The costumes were as bad. The story line was changed then again it is called "the evolution" but i did expect them to follow the basics, like Goku's tale etc. I did enjoy it at some point. The story line was predictable. I can't really name you everything i found wrong in this movie. Just don't waste your time wait for the bootleg version. I am surprised Akira Toriyama even produced that, for someone who was good enough to write and co produce the cartoons she did 100% wrong in my books. They should have picked better actors, didn't have to be well known but better acting could have made a huge difference. The Gorilla part was nice, one of the only thing I've found nice in the entire movie.

this is wat i had to say

it was horrible as expected,, but had to watch cuz its dragon ball

had many issues,,, to add to wat i said in the post above:

- they used dragonball and not dragonball Z (the most successful of the three imo)
- they didnt show the death of lord picolo proper.. did not depict the birth of the new picolo... nor do they mention Kami - his other half
- im pretty sure the ozaru helpin picolo is wrong
- no mention of saiyans.. they make it seem as if the ozarus sole purpose was to serve piccolo
- they used a solar ecclipse instead of a full moon to transform goku
- thats not how gohan died
- because it was not Z they never had ma fave character: vegeta .. or others like gohan
- will mention this again: no krillin?
- i think they cudve atleast done the storyline of wen raditz/vegeta/nappa comes to earth
