Ben and Skylar go to Moscow to launch their new social media but ends up getting their idea stolen by Sean. They decide to drown their sorrow at a club where they meet with two girls, Nathalie and Anne. Something strange happens, powers are down, even their cell phones. When they go outside they witness, blue stars-like drops from the sky, which the women believe to be beautiful. When the cop approaches it, it pulverizes his body to dust, as the invisible thing does to everyone else and seem to be after our power supply. It is immune to bullets and many other things but the foursome, hides in the cellar for 4 days before they decide to come out to realise, the world the knew, seem to have been annihilated. They will work together to find a way back to their love ones, if they are still alive but how when you can even see who you’re up against?

I enjoyed the movie, mostly because me and my cousin kept cracking jokes, It made sense, the way they designed the monsters, with the electricity, the guns, the set up. The acting was so so, I’m glad they neglected the ‘love’ story, some of the actors were annoying. I would say It reminded me a lot with old school Predator minus Arnold or even a modern day Independence day minus Will smith and their amazing visual effects. The monsters lacked of imagination, despite their electric invisible shield, it lacked substance. They seemed a bit too easy to figure out and to destroy. But overall, if you do end up watching with someone funny, you will enjoy the movie, the plot was easy to follow, cast was okay and the end wrapped it well. Don’t expect this movie to scare you at all, It isn’t at all, not even a jumpy moment, nothing. I’m not sure why they categorized it as horror. I went to see it in 3D, it is somewhat in 3d, you couldn’t watch it without the glasses, but I’m not sure why??? Experience, felt no different.
