Hupy & Abraham, a Milwaukee based law firm that offered a $2,500 reward for anyone with information in the unsolved slaying of R&B singer Yolanda “LaLa” Brown, has doubled its offer to $5,000.

As reported earlier, LaLa and her boyfriend, producer JetAnnue Clayborn, were found dead in Loud Enuff Productionz studio in Milwaukee on October 19th.

Authorities said the couple had gunshot wounds and had been dead for at least a day before their bodies were discovered.

LaLa (21) and Clayborn (22) had lived in the studio for three months. LaLa had a 5 year old daughter and Clayborn had a 2 year old son. To date, no arrests have been made in the case and no suspects have been named.

“[Someone] may not have direct knowledge, but they may have heard conversations or had conversations with the person or persons responsible,” Lt. Bill Jessup of the Milwaukee Police told The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel “If they call us, that information would be very helpful in solving the case.”

3 days before the couple's bodies were found, Clayborn, who owned and operated the studio, filed a police report claiming the studio was robbed for over $9000 worth of studio equipment including ‘keyboards, speakers, a microphone, computers and a mixing board.’
