There are unconfirmed reports that ace dancehall deejay, Moses Davis (more popularly known as Beenie Man), was taken into custody on arrival in the U.K. yesterday. Beenie, who was on a European tour, is due to perform tomorrow in New York at Irie Jamboree. It is reported that he was held by the police on arrival at the Gatwick International airport, and taken to the Brighton police station.

Fast rising dancehall deejay, Teflon (real name - Shaneal Watson), was arrested yesterday for breaches of the Firearm Act. This, after an illegal gun was reportedly found at his home during a police operation in his community. The official police report states that at approximately 5:30 p.m. yesterday, a police operation was being conducted in Jack’s River, St. Mary. Teflon’s house was searched and a .45 Colt pistol found on the premises. The 23 year old deejay was subsequently arrested and charged with illegal possession of a firearm. He will appear in court next Monday (September 1).
