Honestly, jamaica should have focused most of that money on their own citizens.
Why spend money you really don't have on another country when your own countrymen are struggling. BS politricks as usual. Anyway, just my 2 cents. ____________________ Wirelessly Posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 1.6; en-us; T-Mobile G1 Build/DRC83) AppleWebKit/528.5+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.2 Mobile Safari/525.20.1) |

you missed my point Ms K. There is a difference between donating and creating a bill mandating payment.
I am all for donations, i donated about $1,000 to the American Red Cross and $20 to yele. However, if the US pushed for a bill basically using tax payers money for people other than its citizens ... i wouldnt be for it. Especially since there are STILL people in New Orleans and other places in the US that are homeless/starving/suffering/uninsured. Charity is charity. It should never be forced. So, for a country like Jamaica that has ridiculous amounts of dirt poor/starving/homeless people, they should focus that money on suffering Jamaican people first. Thats all I was saying. |

i'm glad they did...watever the outcome...we as jamaicans wouldn't have gotten that money anyways...at least they put it to good use...on the books they're struggling to pay it...but reallity...there's so much more that could be done...but eh...who can trust governments now a days..either way...good use of money...we can all see that it didn't end up in someone's pockets...all they're gonna do now is cut back on another road project...cut out another rural development project...that aint new...we just couldn't see where the money was going before....
