if your using virtual DJ there is only a few steps needed to fix that problem

• make sure you have the "lame_enc.dll" somewhere in your Virtual DJ folder (its usually in your plugins folder)
• Open Virtual DJ and go to your "Record File Config" tab
• Under Format select the 'mp3' radio button and then next to 'Encoder' find your "lame_enc.dll" in the VDJ folder
• Select the bitrate you want your recordings to be (I would suggest 96kbs)

and thats it ... you can record from that point on



here is the .dll if you needed it lame_enc.rar

just put it in somewhere in your VDJ folder ... preferably your 'plugins' folder
