Gladys Knight advice to Young women and Young Man

Gladys Knight is no stranger to the most of us, famous singer, and also actress, right now is in tyler perry's latest movie " I can do bad all by myself" has some plans to help the upcoming acts in the industry.

She had an interview with bvbuzz.com and shared that she wants to open a music school where she wants to teach the artist the good and bad things to do to get in the business and not let the business make you.

There is one thing that she said that i personally have thought about often, each decision you make will affect your life later on in life, whether it is in a good or bad way. Its the "tattoos" on female. she mentions that it bothers her to see the amount some are getting at a young age and not thinking on how it could affect their future and believe they will end up regretting when they get older and hopefully wiser.

She said : "I abhor what they are doing to themselves at this stage in the game. But we all have eras that we've lived through. Maybe for us it was for something else, maybe for the ones before us it was something else. We're gonna have to catch them a little early. We're starting a little late now. That's not to say that we can't do anything about it. I have a daughter-in-law now and I love her madly. She is just a beautiful young woman. She's got these tattoos. Where she came from and the way she was brought up, no one told her that was not a good idea. We can't blame them for that, we can only teach. She said, 'Mom, if I had known then what I know now.' Well, I said, 'That's a decision you're going to have to live with.' She wants to get them removed, but she's so fair [skinned] that the ink won't go," she shared.

She also continues on that young women tend to keep forgetting that we were build for a different purpose and should keep that in mind : "It's sad to watch. Especially for our young women. I will separate the two. What the men do is not all the time what we can do and be alright. You know what I'm saying? It just should not happen. We have our roles. We were designed differently for this world. You have your roles, we have our roles. We're meant to be nurturing and feminine and all of those things. Not marked up. But because of the way our society is going, we've been pushed into as women that role where we've got to be all tough so we start wearing the pants in the family because there are no pants there. Same thing with you guys. You've been undercut and beat down so you're just not doing it anymore. I would appreciate if they would take a different path because they are going to suffer these decisions for a very long time."

I do feel where she's coming from. Some people just do certain things in life without thinking on their health risk, future risk etc. A co-worker once told me in the future everyone will be similar to what some of us once called "weird", tatted it up, pierced up. I doubt it will happen but after reading all this. What do you guys think of what she said? I agree at one point. People like Lil Wayne, Birdman, That girl who's fromt he west as well she barely had a career etc etc.

Men : Do you like your woman totally marked up? and why?
Women : Do you like your man tatted it up?
