Rumors are still surging strong with the move of Carmelo Anthony ad Chauncy Billups mioving to the Nets as well Billips being reunited with former teammate Rip Hamilton. Billups made it clear of how he fells with all the trade talks:

Now it's Carmelo's turn, he expressed remorse Monday that teammate Chauncey Billups' name has been dragged into this drama. To br honest I would like to see all three of these stars on the same team in New Jersey, but with Billups' comments, Carmelo's response to the rumors and Hamilton nor saying much at all makes it seem like the Met organization is making it all up to float their boat.

However, Carmelo has made the mistake once by mentioning how everyone would like to play in New York. He is how he tries to redeem himself: "I told you that last year. I think that's how all this stuff started, by me making that comment. New York is playing well right now. I don't think they're looking at me, they don't want me to come in here and mess what they have up. That's what I've read.''
