Kris Humphries has a few words for his soon-to-be-ex-wife's new paramour: good luck.
The NBA player is reportedly trying everything he can to move on from the debacle that was his 72-day marriage to Kim Kardashian, and he's leaving a trail of warnings behind him.
"When Kris found out about Kim going public with Kanye, he told his friends he wanted to tell West, 'Good luck dude, you are going to need it,'" a source told RadarOnline.com. "Kris knows that while he was with Kim, he was completely faithful, and he has serious doubts that she could say the same."
According to the source, Humphries was aware that Kardashian and Kanye West kept in touch throughout the course of his relationship with the reality star, and Humphries finds the timing of the new couple's debut a little suspect.
"Kris knows for a fact that this dalliance between Kim and Kanye has been going on for at least the last two years," the source told RadarOnline.com. "Kim kept in touch with Kanye after she married Kris and promised him that she would cut off communication with him, but she never did.
"Kris is suspicious of the timing of Kim deciding to go public with the relationship because the new season of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' is premiering in May, and Kanye has released a new album."
West, 34, and Kardashian, 31, have been dating for about two weeks, but TMZ reports that the two have actually had an on-again, off-again relationship for eight years.
Sources tell the site that Kardashian initially thought of reuniting with ex-flame Reggie Bush, but a trip to Miami a few weeks ago convinced her that it wasn't a good fit.
Then, when the reality star met up with music maven West in Paris for his fashion show last month, the pair decided to "give dating a shot."
The pair has recently been snapped trotting around town eating dinner and attending plays.
Kardashian displayed what appeared to be a hickey during a supposed walk of shame from West's apartment late last week.
West even reportedly had an entire floor of FAO Schwarz in New York shut down last week so that the pair could play "Chopsticks" on the oversize piano just like Tom Hanks did in the movie "Big."
But the rapper's sweet gestures don't seem quite so genuine to some.
"I'm convinced they are the ones who have been tipping off the paparazzi to take their photos everywhere they go so that they can get the publicity," an insider told HollywoodLife.com. "Someone who is calling the paparazzi can't be as desperate about her divorce as she says she is."
