Amid all the congratulations on the birth of his new baby girl, Kanye West now has something less favorable to contemplate. The American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) has frowned upon the Chicago rapper’s choice to use the disease as a punchline in “On Sight,” a track from his latest album, “Yeezus,” reports TMZ.

APDA’s vice president, Kathryn Whitford, said, “We find these lyrics distasteful and the product of obvious ignorance.” The lyrics at issue are “A monster about to come alive again/ Soon as I pull up and park the Benz/ We get this b---h shaking like Parkinson’s.”

Unfortunately, West, 36, isn’t the only rapper to use the disease as a punchline. Snoop Lion, formerly Snoop Dogg, used it in his track “Eyez Closed,” which features Kanye. (“My b---h bad and my diamonds still sparklin’, got the competition shaking like Parkinson’s.”)Tyler, the Creator also used it for his verse in Earl Sweatshirt’s “Couch” (“Got you n----s shakin’ like its Parkinson’s).

It also isn’t the first time West has received backlash from a national organization for his lyrics. After People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals bashed West’s clothing choices, the rapper said his “mink is draggin’ on the floor” in the song “Theraflu.”

“What’s draggin’ on the floor is Kanye’s reputation as a man with no empathy for animals or human beings,” PETA’s senior vice president, Dan Mathews, said in a release at the time. “He’s a great musician but doesn’t seem to have the fashion sense to design anything more than caveman costumes.”

The new dad has yet to respond to the criticisms he’s received from APDA.
A young teen beat his little half-sister to death using wrestling moves he'd copied from the TV, police claim.

Devalon Armstrong, 13, is accused of repeatedly slamming Viloude Louis, 5, onto a bed, punching her in the stomach, jumping on her back and elbow-dropping into her kidneys.

She suffered broken ribs, internal bleeding and liver lacerations from the brutal bashing at their Terrytown, Louisiana, home.

Cops say Armstrong was babysitting his younger sibling on Sunday afternoon when he decided to test out some moves he'd seen on World Wrestling Entertainment.

Later complaining of having a stomach ache, she went upstairs to brush her teeth — before being found by her brother 30 minutes later in crippling pain on the bathroom floor.

Realizing she was no longer breathing, Armstrong took her downstairs to the sofa and dialed 911.

Paramedics arrived on the scene but found her unresponsive. She was pronounced dead soon after.

As there were no outward signs of injury, Louis's death was at first deemed "unclassified."

But a coroner's report released on Tuesday found she had died of multiple injuries.

Armstrong, who reportedly confessed to carrying out the moves, was arrested later that day on suspicion of second-degree murder.

He is currently being held at a juvenile detention center, reports The Times-Picayune.

Psychiatrists will now evaluate whether Armstrong is mentally able to participate in his own defense. A hearing is scheduled for next month.

Obesity isn't just a major public health problem -- it's a disease, the American Medical Association has ruled.

The influential physicians' group voted to officially recognize obesity as a disease at its annual meeting Tuesday.

“Recognizing obesity as a disease will help change the way the medical community tackles this complex issue that affects approximately one in three Americans,” AMA board member Patrice Harris, M.D., said in a statement. “The AMA is committed to improving health outcomes and is working to reduce the incidence of cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes, which are often linked to obesity.”

The group acknowledges that obesity "[requires] a range of medical interventions to advance ... treatment and prevention," the statement also said.

The decision is expected to change how insurance companies cover obesity, opening up a wider range of treatment options for obese patients who may also have related health conditions such as type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease and certain types of cancers and disabilities.

An estimated 36% of American adults are obese, according to the CDC. Half of Americans could be obese by 2040 according to some projections, said Dr. Jeffrey I. Mechanick, clinical professor of medicine at Mount Sinai's Icahn School of Medicine and president of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist, who was part of the group that presented evidence that supported the AMA's decision.

"Obesity is a considerable problem, it's a pervasive problem. It affects all of medicine in one way or another," he told the Daily News. "All the things we have been doing [to combat it], even though they're well thought out based on science, haven't been working so well."

Once a person is obese, their fat cells function differently, which has an effect on the entire body, influencing hormonal function as well as signalling pathways in the brain, Mechanick said.

"There are molecules that are made by fat that interact directly on the brain," he said. "The brain then interacts with other organs in the body, such as the bones, GI tract and pancreas."

The decision to classify obesity as a disease will have far-reaching effects such as the approval of more and better obesity drugs, continued advancements in bariatric surgery, funding for anti-obesity initiatives and a greater chance that doctors will intervene early to help their patients, Mechanick said.

"Number one, there'll be more of an awareness on the part of the doctor and more of an imperative to treat," he said. "The other important facet is prevention. For people who are just overweight, or even people who aren't but are living in an environment that has potential for an unhealthy lifestyle, intervention should be introduced at that stage as well."

Shuter says that since she married billionaire Wissam Al Mana, she has grown tired of the grueling entertainment industry. The pair got married last year in a very private ceremony, according to Shuter, and they want to live a private life away from the paparazzi.

Al Mana, a Qatar native, is involved in his family’s controlled Middle-East-based Al Mana Retail Group.

And since marrying Al Mana, Ms. Jackson’s net worth has certainly climbed higher as she is officially became a billionaire sometime in May, this year. However, it’s not clear if her recent billionaire status has anything to do with the fact that she recently married one.
Drake claims Chris Brown refuses to bury the hatchet in their long-running and violent feud ... and what's more -- Drake says, "I get a feeling it could end really badly."

Drake had finally broken his silence about his war with Brown to GQ ... even talking about the bloody bar fight that went down inside W.i.P. in NYC last June.

“I don’t want my name to be synonymous with that guy’s name," Drake says ... "I really don’t. I wish we could sit down, just like you and me are right now, and talk it out man-to-man."

He continues ... "But that’s not going to happen. I’m not confrontational, but if someone challenges, I’m not going to back down."

Drake says he's "embarrassed" by the media coverage ... saying, "Two rappers fighting over the woman. He’s not even a rapper, but still, it’s the last way you want your name out there."

And then comes Drake's dark prediction ... saying the feud "distracts from the music. But he’s made me the enemy, and that’s the way it’s gonna stay, I guess."

"If I think about it too much, I feel it wrapping around my foot, like I get a feeling it could end really badly.”

Wayne just tweeted about his controversial video shoot for "God Bless Amerika" in New Orleans ... saying, "I didn't step on the flag on purpose! It's a scene in a video where the flag drops behind me and after it drop it's just there as I perform."
So ... you buyin' Weezy's explanation?
Well this is bizarre -- a man was arrested last night for tiptoeing around Rihanna's roof ... but lucky for the singer, security guards nabbed the guy before he made it much further.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, private security guards near Rihanna's Pacific Palisades property called police just after 10 PM, reporting they had detained the 26-year-old alleged trespasser. Guards then held the man until officers arrived, and turned him over. The man was subsequently placed under arrest.

We're told the man was adamant ... he did NOT know it was Rihanna's house he was creeping around -- though cops tell us he had a Google map of the area pulled up on his phone. (Maybe he just got really lost???)

Bail was set $2,882. He's still in custody.

According to the L.A. Times -- which broke the story -- Rihanna wasn't home at the time ... she's in the U.K. on her Diamonds World Tour.

It's been a wild year for Rihanna's L.A. pad -- she was swatted in April ... and there was also that guy who tried to break into her house and sleep in her bed. The perks of being famous.
Mary J. Blige is being sued for allegedly bailing on a concert in Dallas last December -- and according to the lawsuit, it's kinda Mick Jagger's fault.

A promotional company called Vision Entertainment Worldwide has sued Mary J. and her production company, claiming the singer agreed to perform in Dallas on December 9th, 2012 ... but canceled just a few days beforehand.

VEW claims it paid Mary a $145,000 deposit to appear ... and she never paid back the money, despite pulling the plug on the show.

VEW claims Blige blew them off because she got a better opportunity to perform at the Barclays Center with Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones on December 8th ... and she took it.

VEW is now suing for breach of contract and more -- demanding at least $145,000 in damages. Calls to Blige's camp haven't been returned.
