Is The Taser Over Abused On Black People?

I'm not trying to make it sound like it's a racial thing but i tend to hear more of them using it on black unarmed people.

What's your views on that? do You believe the Taser is a good thing if put the proper use?

Louisiana coroner said Tuesday that a policeman shocked a 21-year-old Black man so many times with his Taser that the suspect was likely dead when the officer gave him two more 50,000-volt jolts. “After he was given that drive stun to the chest, he was pulled out of the car onto the concrete,” Randolph Williams, the Winn Parish coroner, told CNN.

What you need is strict regulation on how it is used (How many times) and under what circumstance. Cuz you cant tell me one time shock with that thing cant take down the average person. I'm pretty sure it can. . . But as usuall the system never blames the cops

I did a lil report on this in class yesterday. in that county there were 14 events where cops used tasers and ten of them was from that same dude dat kilt homie and i think majority of the incidents involved african americans. Sick and Physchotic if u ask me.

There's a congressman in Ny who's proposing that police officers carry tasers & guns with built in micro video cameras to record incidents. The equipment exist but will it reduce police abuse?
