OK I was sent a clip of "chocking" and it actually looks more like just being held by the neck. It doesn't actually look as bad as it sounds but I guess the mans grip could tighten if he got too into it.

I was choked and harmed against my will some time ago, so while it may be okay with some folks and there are safety words, it is not something I would ever want to do. I feel uncomfortable even being kissed on the neck. Diffrent strokes for diffrent folks.
