ok so im not a big tv watcher..lol..there are specific shows that i search for on certain channels..but why is it that BET is the only channel i see those male enhancement commercials on during the day... u know like Extenze.lol....
now..marketing tend to be target specific...so i have to believe there is some kinda research data out there that shows that the Bet watchers are more likely to purchase these products....one guy i asked this question to claimed its bc women put so much pressure on black men to be bigger and to over perfom so thats why they are likely targets to use male size and perfomance enhancement products...what do you think...and have u seen them on any other channels during the day/night...

Its got to be about lower advertising rates or something for them to be targeting BET.....I'd like to know the stats

I can't go with the arguement that alot of black men have these insecurities....I will say some men in general, regardless of race, are self consious about their size or performance.....

ok i hear what u saying...but look at it from a marketing stand point...u not going to try to sell ice to the Inuits(eskimos)...now would u... no matter how cheap it was to place the ads...why..bc u know regardless on how cheap it is u are wasting your money with that demographic...so the fact that this is the demographic they are targeting says there is something out there that it making them gear the ads towards them...

To be honest BET get wack for me a while now , but in general they advertise wierd all the time and to frequenty i may add; hence the reason i kinda stop watching it lol .. But to add to blue point proberly its the recession causing that weird trend Many major advertising companies gone broke and they say alot of ppl fuking because of the recession.. so there u go

on the contrary...you dont want to use a black couple because that is too much in your face and everyone knows that men are...especially black men are touchy when it comes to their sexual perfomance and size...especially bc they feel they need to live up to the myth of being "blessed"...which is the reason you advertizing on Bet to begin with...you want to get them interested not offended...so by using the white couples it comes off more as..."Its not necessarily for you...but just passing on info so you know whats out there if u ever want to try".....

u know how we pick up the candy at the check out counter of the grocery store or pharmacy or gas station...or any of the other places we all shop....altho u really didnt need the damn candy...but it just happened to be there...

‘Male Sexual Enhancement’ Fraudster Gets Jail Time

August 28, 2008, 9:13 AM ET - The founder of a company that sells Enzyte — “the once-daily tablet for natural male enhancement” — was sentenced to 25 years in jail yesterday. Berkeley Premium Neutraceuticals and other defendants were ordered to forfeit $500 million. The drug was promoted by a guy called “Smiling Bob”.




Dietary supplements are subject to much less regulatory scrutiny than prescription drugs. But there are limits to the claims supplement manufacturers can make. And this case seems to go beyond mere claims.

Steve Warshak, founder of Berkeley Premium Neutraceuticals, was convicted earlier this year on 93 counts of conspiracy, fraud and money laundering. Federal prosecutors said the company bilked customers out of $100 million through deceptive ads, manipulated credit-card transactions and refusal to accept returns or cancel orders.

“This is a case about greed,” U.S. District Judge Arthur Spiegel said. “Steven Warshak preyed on perceived sexual inadequacies of customers.”

Warshak said: “I do feel deep remorse and would like to apologize to any customer who ever had a bad experience with my company.”
