I'd be depressed too if I was affected but research shows herpes doesn't kill you and HIV is managable(look at Magic Johnson) so I'd do my best to stay healthy. To answer the main topic...As very selective as I am and as a respondsible man I'd feel I'd must tell if we're at the point of getting intimate....

well not everyone knows about the herpes. they only know about the genital herpes and how you catch it. so you are not the only one cause when i was told i have type 2 i was shocked cause i like everyone only knew about type one and i was given information on it and i am satisfied with myself that i know how to treat it and not let any1 catch it from me

There are 2 (really 3) forms of herpes. Type 1 & type 2

Type 1 affects your genitals
Type 2 affects your mouth & it can infect your eyes as well

EVERYONE regardless of race is born with the virus that causes herpes. It is a natural part of nature. Even some animals carry the virus. I think it is the Same virus that causes Chicken Pox.

If I had herpes or hiv/aids I would never have sex with anyone again. Probably become a monk or something for the rest of my life.

Having sex with someone without telling them that you are hiv/aids positive is a felony offense and you will get tossed in jail for the same amount of time as you would for manslaughter.

If i had HIV or Herpes I would tell the person!!! Cuz thats really messed up people spreading their disease to u! Wow n yes I asked a few people b4 if they have something if they ever had anything! N most ppk are real honest about havin STD's but i guess most ppl would lie thats messed up!
