So i was on twitter having nothing better to do and this one person said : "Love fucked Lauryn Hills career up"

So i told her that i didn't believe wanting to marry the man she loved and having kids meant that she messed up her career that she had family and told her that Fans wasn't enough for her to move on with her life.

She went on about how She had no family, and i (you guys know me already) told her that she did have a family whether she had her man or not she still has her kids and her mother etc.

Here's what she said : "that isn't a complete family- nor is it a healthy one- she's depressed. and just because single parent homes exist doesnt mean. that it constitutes a "Family". children are family members- not the complete set. thus she doesnt have luv, career or family"

and I think she misunderstood when i told her that my mom raised me alone and was happier with me alone then having my dad with her and she took it personal and ended up clarifying : her baby father left her- and she went into depression- that's how her career fell off- not because she has kids. (none have proof of this YET)

From what I said and she said what do you guys think...Do you believe she messed up her career? Do you believe she isn't happy whether she's with Marley boy or not? and what's YOUR definition of family?

Speak up...I'de like to hear your opinion on this one

i dont kno if its rohan or something else.. but sumthin aint been right wit lauryn for a while now and it makes me sad.. i jus dont wanna see another one of my artist decline like shit whitney went thru

do i think she messed her career - yes.. lauryn cud be at the top of the game right now.. outsellin ppl like rihanna

do i think she isnt happy - yes.. jus something bout her face... she jus look sad... i dont think its completely marley boy's fault.. but probly teh bizniz and such


but.. damn.. a sad story really.. girl had by far one of the hottest albums and one of my personal faves.. den jus drop off

maybe because she thinks her time is done...that she had enough of entertainment and she could be writing for others....People are talking about lauryn hill like she made miracles.... One solo album...and One group album. Some don't want to go any further especially because of the exposure, she could have hated being a celebrity as well.

Here's what she said :

and i also notice people tend to judge someone by the way they look and act....Crazy because of how she showed up on stage...miserable etc...How any of us so sure? They said Micheal was crazy after all these years do you really think so?

Something else...Maybe her new material, like jay-z has said about his previous album, was too advance for us...maybe she's on another level, had tried to share people hated it?

Lauryn has issues like everyone...be it due to the fact of the alleged break up r whatever......but as for the family part...a family can b complete with one parent...i've grown up with one parent...n to b honest...i never missed my dad r felt out of place that my other friends...had there's n i didn't...my mother gave me everything that i needed...i was never hungry...never not clothed...always had a roof over my head...thing got tight when she decided she wanted her own house n decided to build...but...compromise for the greater good...n that made me respect my mom...cause she did it all by herself...the mom,dad & kids...r text book family...in reality...a family can comprise of just one parent...n it is complete

neva said she was "crazy" but something not "right" wit lauryn.. sumthin wasnt "right" wit mike either.. if u want to compare the two.. its like the bizniz broke em... a victim of their own success i guess


and again.. no i dont think she happy... atleast from my pov lookin at her face.. and like i said b4 its probly not ALL due to mr marley... as for family... no a father isnt needed... my father neva grow me and i was fine... he was more of a "weekend and holiday" father.. but i never felt like i was lacking anything that my mother couldnt give me.. my def. of family is basically having ppl or a person who u share mututal unconditional love wit... doesnt even have to be a blood relative... jus like i have ppl i wud call cousin or aunty and no relation.. but the "family love" is there u seet


and as for the miracles part... yes she only had one solo album.. but that was a BIG album and i saw it as jus the surface of wat was to come.. then she decided to jus stop... not many ppl can make one album and go down as one of the best... and leave ppl wanting more.. most artist nowadays mek one album and i wish to never hear their name mentioned again
