I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our
cell phones.

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets
What if we turned back to go get it if we for got it
What if we flipped through it several times a day
What if we used it to receive messages from the text
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it
What if we gave it to kids as gifts
What if we used it as we traveled
What if we used it in case of an emergency
What if we upgraded it to get the latest version

I was thinking on my way home, got touched by the spirit, so I wrote
this so you can hear it. Its just something to think about. Something
to make you say hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, and where is my Bible?

Yeah I kinda agree fake people would try to quote the bible and misinterpret it! They would start sayin they r da prophet of God but really not! And on the other hand it can also be good less violence and more love!!!!

...dem doin it now..plenty ppl abuse the Bible to satisfy their own selfish wants...it would probably happen to a greater extent tho

I totally agree. You have people abusing and and taking the Bible out of context now, and this has led to many people taking the Bible for granted. People don't have respect for the Bible as they once did. To an extent, I can empathize with them. Many people have use the Bible to justify their many wrongs. However, I am encouraged that the Bible does say that "Judgement will begin in the house..." So, those that had added and taken away from the Word of God WILL BE held accountable.

On the other hand, if people did actually read their Bible and Rightfully Divide the text, much of the Evil in the could be curtailed. However, it is not Mankind that we have to worry about:

"12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13) Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14) Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15) And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16) Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17) And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:" ---Galatians 6:12-17

Ultimately, it's Satan that seeks to pervert, defile, and abuse the Word of God; all in the hopes that he can get you to DOUBT What thus saith the Lord your God. For many, Satan has been very successful in planting the seed of DOUBT. I pray that you Will Not/Are Not his next victim.

i used to have Bible verses in my phone... certain ones that kept me "sane", lol... but my friends used to laugh at me for it... i just took it cause i knew what i was doing it for... for me

Al i kno is that the most mis interperted book is the bible ..Dats why i dont follow catholic or "christians" I follow my own beliefs.....Religion is now currupt its self ...So the the only way to adequetly follow the bible is to do your own thing .....Many if the ting in the bible is altered .... so you cant take the bible a literal most of the time!!

tru say when ur friends do that it's cuz they want what u have that's what my granny used 2 alwayz tell me when i was younger, so i still go by that
