Rihanna - Russian Roulette Audio

Rihanna - Russian Roulette Audio Audio

It's Here, It's here the long awaited single finally released few minutes ago. Vocals are on point not has ears bleeding as usual. The beat is just enough for you to focus more on Rihanna's voice. Pretty different comparing to the previous ones. Interesting pick of title. 3.5/5

^ the audio you have there is not of the song ... maybe you put the wrong link up

and ummm ...

I dont like it much. Sounds decent, sure. But listen to the lyrics carefully.

Here is something someone said about it and it kinda mirrors my opinions:

This song is no "unbreak my heart". You are joking right? This is more
like a "I love the thrill of my bf beating me up" song. And for that
reason, this song will never hit number one. It will be short lived on the
radio. Seriously, who the F wants to sing this song in their car???? I don't
want to sing about being terrified but not leaving!!!! If I am terrified of
something, I don't stick around! Who does that? Insecure, helpless, idiots.

Not the right message i would want young girls listening to and then think its ok to stay with a guy that is beating them.

Not a good look at all.

i havent listened to the song...but for some to believe that artists/songs/lyrics have no effect is a bit naive...when michael jackson died one of the first reason a lot of ppl gave for taking his death so hard was because of his songs..ppl were talking about how his songs touched them some even said his songs changed them...and you hear stuff like that all the time from so called positive songs....so then why wouldnt it be the same for the so called negative songs....why wouldnt they have an effect on someone's life or state of mind also...cant just credit artists for positive influence and then not place responsibility for the negative...thats just disingenous..

im told these are the lyrics
Take a breath, take it deep
Calm yourself, he says to me
If you play, you play for keeps
Take a gun, and count to three
I’m sweating now, moving slow
No time to think, my turn to go

And you can see my heart beating
You can see it through my chest
And I’m terrified but I’m not leaving
Know that I must must pass this test
So just pull the trigger

Say a prayer to yourself
He says close your eyes
Sometimes it helps
And then I get a scary thought
That he’s here means he’s never lost

As my life flashes before my eyes
I’m wondering will I ever see another sunrise?
So many won’t get the chance to say goodbye
But it’s too late too pick up the value of my life

thats making the assumption that everyone has the same state of mind and make decisions based on their own conscious thoughts which would be a flawed assumption since in our daily lives we see examples to the opposite...
look ultimately yes it is the responsibility of the person to act on the influence simply because its their action...however it doesnt change the fact that the influence was there...whether positive or negative...and thats is my point...and if artists are going to take credit for the positive then they ought to also take it for the negative also...remember michael jackson so changed their lives...lol

when was the last time you heard a bunch of girls singing a song about them loving a guy so much that they will take a chance with him even if it means they might die in the end

yah yah ... entertainment is entertainment and blah blah blah ... everyone is responsible for their own actions and blah blah blah

... but really... where if any is the limit? Who takes responsibility if something bad happens to one of her listeners ... Children are very impressionable. and her main audience is children.

soooooo ... yeah

I like Rihanna ... just not this song ... thats all i am saying.

Producer Responds To Tiffany's answer

There are no satanic messages in the music. Maybe if we did a remake of ‘Promise Ring’ (Tiffany’s hit single), then Rihanna wouldn’t be a devil worshipper. People are so closed minded. The song is not literal. Like most provocative art, its symbolism. Grow up. I’m never going to defend my art…I create it and then it’s out of my hands. So reviews don’t hurt me, but Tiffany’s unrealistic take on the song really urked me because idiots breed idiots. Bottom line, she is in the music business so she understands that the song is not indicative of the artist views, but rather, it’s the brainchild and vision of the songwriter and producer. With that being said, to use that song as a shining example of devil worship in the music business, you are saying that Ne-yo and Chuck Harmony are devil worshippers. Thats stupid!! That’s beyond stupid it’s immature. Artist should understand art. So with Tiffany Evans rant, I can safely say that the title artist should not be part of her bio.
