Giving and Receiving compliments

how do you feel about compliments..do you give them often... how do u handle receiving them....
i do give ppl compliments even strangers...and i gave someone a compliment today and i think she took it the wrong way though...

..
but i dont believe in flattery...my compliments are real... if i see something that i like ill let it be known to the person...i dont see why not..
i find that most times women find it strange when i compliment them though...but most guys are ok with it even if they are taken a back by it...or blush...they still appreciate it..

I love complimenting women and receiving compliments from them I dont get bigheaded or nuthin but it just boosts your confidence a bit although u should already be self confident but a compliment here and there doesnt hurt, and i like complimenting women but dont like when sometimes they take it the wrong way like u tryin to get with them or disrespect them but its all good

i hate compliments...people lie...[if i get a compliment it's almost as if the person never spoke if its something i can't see in myself]

i don't give compliments i tell you the truth....so if its something positive trust me...i could say someting just as negative in the same breath...so goes back to my earlier statement...i don like being lied to so i won't lie to anyone...it only brings a false sense of security until reallity sets in

and no i don't go around insulting people...id rather find a positive truth to say about someone than a negative...so long as its the truth...

Recieving compliments it depends on the day but too much compliments make me shy away!

i like to give and receive compliments too but like u said only if theyre real.but sometimes u dont know how to react.like sunday nite i was in church and this lady ive never met just came up to me and said,"I just wanted to tell u that u look like a doll".and i was kinda stuck because she didnt say anything else so i just said thank you,

When I do give a compliment its usually for something that really impressed me. I can accept a certain amount of compliments depending on the circumstance and the person. Too many genuine compliments would eventually embarass me.
