| this is a bit off the top of my head...sorry for the sound quality and the video quality...still don't really have time to do one seriously (i'll put real effort into the finer details and such)...so until then it'll be what it is...and sorry there is nothing written so with bad video quality and the way that i pronounce my words you might have to pay a little bit closer attention...and why did i make the video hidden...seemed like the right way to go at the time...so respond and maybe enjoy...i don't have the urge to write as much this is what i do when i don't write...

| so im listening and im smiling not just at the way you drop a word of "light humor" here and there..but also at that beautiful gift of yours of weaving sentence to sentence with a single word...and how at times you dont even have to say the word...your pause allows our mind to fill in the rhyme...and whether it's a serious line or not it always makes me smile because it displays your gift...now here is the thing...i know you dont write down a lot of these but you should....and there are so many of your other poems that i would like to listen to...*hint hint*...lol....but seriously i truly enjoyed this.... |

@blue you know how it is already lol...and i'm good at taking a hint...hopefully i can get at it sooner than later lol just putting this out there...i'm in the process of setting up a small publishing company...yeh lol...i am...but that's not the whole of the news...most of the first few projects i will be doing will be personal projects...but there are about three or so that are compilations so i'm putting this out there to all the dhaz poets now: compilations (all of it is poems): 1. The Black Book basically a set of poems about anything and all things black in the last 30 years of black popular or cult history...it's a generational book...it's like a documeting of black history through the eyes of the eighties babies and such folk... 2. a volume series I want to call THE HISTORY OF BLACK PEOPLE vol 1-3...so this is ancient history...way back to KINGS and QUEENS to SLAVERY to CIVIL RIGHTS (starting of the end of slavery)...this one is more historical fact than anything else...less subjective and more objective...personal view points can be in it but reference back to events in each period...personally think this might take the longest lol 3. tentatively calling this one Love Stories...title is self explanatory...personally think this one is going to be the most enjoyable so in short those are the compilations...so if you have an interest or you were thinking about getting something started this is something to think about...personally this isn't a priority right now...a lot of other things are higher up on the have to do scale...so i've left the idea(s) partially formed...if i do see enough interest i will make it one...i'm looking for quality artists...so if you or anyone you know can fit into any of those three books up there then PM me..and if anyone knows any cartoonists, artists, or animators make a link...[potential editors and such are more than welcome]...this is a new thing so i really am not looking at credentials i'm more looking for people i can work with...didn't plan to start now but might as well...when the time comes the more in place the better...For anyone who actually knows my name you can search it through the Canadian ISBN publisher's directory [it's not that hard to set up a publishing company really...promotion is the actual hard part...plus side about Canada is your ISBNS are free not paid like the States once you get approved and it's a simple process] and my info will pop up if you don't then we can work from hi my name is and go from there [no point in putting my info all over the page..generally interested people usuallly ask questions]...like i said this isn't something that's on right now but I would definitely like to get some ideas of where a fellow poet's mind is and see what can actually be done...the opportunity is there so we might as well...for all who know me...you know poetry is a passion of mine so when the projects do get under way you know i'll put my all into it...anyways this took more words than i expected... |

| left to my own devices it wont be for another 6-12 months...call it my reward for getting certain things done...but in the mean time i just threw the thought out there to see who and what bounced back...never too early to start planning...the quicker i grasp actual mindsets and not just theoretical ones the smoother the projects might be...when it comes to anything that can even remotely be money oriented can't get involved with the wrong people...the fun might get sucked out of it will definitely keep you posted...lol...but that's a given |

| Alright in the spirit of keeping this community involved after allowing me to push so many of my poems down their throats here we go: I'm currently working on LOVE STORIES if you read the above post you realize it is compilation number 3 on the list so how can you participate...and why should you: -no you don't have to be a poet...just have an opinion preferably a strong opinion on the subject... -no it doesn't have to encompass the word love at it's core...just a semblance of a relationship between two or more people...even self appreciation...so long as it has passion -i am looking for poems and poets because it is a poetry book but a poem is not simply a rhyme it's more than that...it's emotion thought process...story telling etc etc... -how can you help...submit whatever it is you feel is appropriate (message me if you're thinking and you're not sure) -tell your friends tell your friends friends.. -and why should you specifically get involved...because i've read many posts on this site in regards to the topic...I've come to enjoy the points of view and perspectives and I feel that others will enjoy them just the same now there are a couple reasons why i want to make this a compilation and not just write the whole thing myself...this topic is too broad and varied and the concept and umbrella that it falls under is best served with the opinions of many...all the poems stories...points of view will be woven into one story...hence the name love story...the poems and submissions themselves will tell a story...and your story or poem will become simply a part of the LOVE STORY...or love stories...(this is volume 1 and i'm hoping to feature a short story at the end but if it doesn't fit the theme embodied by submissions then I'll simply put it in the subsequent volumes...yes this will be an ongoing thing...) I am asking without prejudice that if you are remotely interested leave a msg in this thread or msg me...and ill be willing to explain in any detail that you require...but again i would love the participation of this community but I am not beggin' I am asking...  don't judge my grammar or my academic ability by this post...lol...I am qualified to be doing what I am proposing to you...so ask a question and simply read for information sake and not as a line of qualification |
