Mirrah was one of the Biggest competition in R U The Girls how. She competed against Many other girls with Hope and dreams of becoming a singer. With Her Originality, Spirituality, Her different Type of singing, Rapping, clothing which is what conquered The fan's Heart and made her reached the finals. She Lost against O'so Krispie But that didn't make her give up, she continued pursuing her career and is coming out with an album late this year. I had the pleasure to Interview her and see what she was up to.

(MK) Tell us a little bit more about you?

(MIRRAH) : I'm Indonesian with African American decent, I am an Australian Citizen.

(MK) How was it working Next to Superstars Like Tlc?

(MIRRAH) I had a wonderful time. I had met kindred spirits that still reflect as 'Crazy Sexy Cool women. They are as charismatic as I expected, and love what they have achieved. It was a great opportunity to record among them, and to share my excitement in writing and Rhyming.

(MK) What was the Best Time In the Show?

(MIRRAH) Each day honestly was the best time! How could I have a bad day, I was being introduced to the music life with T-Boz & Chilli. They are so chilled and about their business. I also love taking pictures, creating the album cover was very fun and we really had a one on one time with one another.

(MK) Did the show helped your singing career?

(MIRRAH) It has introduced about 5-6 million people to to each of us who was on that show. I am who I was on the show, very passionate about my life and career so I am learning each day by writing and performing and now on tour in Australia, finishing my album with Australian producers and having prosperous meetings to forward my career in entertainment. I am very proud of Australian HipHop/R&B/Pop & Rock and am proud to become the vocal and face to represent it thru music.

(MK) At what age were you introduced to music?

(MIRRAH) Since I was adopted at 4months old. Music was and is still always played in my house.

(MK) We heard that you were coming out with an album late 2007 can you talk to us about it, Like featuring, Whats to be expected?

(MIRRAH) I don't like being placed in a commercial pop box. Expect the unexpected. My name is 'Mirrah' so metaphorically I express thru songs which "REFLECT" my views of LIFE, LOVE thru MUSIC. As far as features I wish to introduce my vocals thru Rapping and singing. My music is melodic and refreshing.

(MK) I know you've been on the road a lot recently. What other cities besides your hometown do you consider a home away from home?

(MIRRAH) Houston, TX./ Philly/ London England/ Germany/ Canada and now in Sydney, Australia.

(MK) Do you produce or only Sing?

(MIRRAH) I love to write, rap and sing. One day I'll learn Production side of things.

(MK) What do you love the most about the whole Music Business / Scene?

(MIRRAH) This business is an interesting gamble. But it has taught me how to be patient and to follow my goals with passion and drive and to acknowledge don't take everything so seriously. Be me, selflessly and make sure I surround myself only with positive, hard working folk.

(MK) Whats your Ultimate Goal In Life?

(MIRRAH) Wow, that's a serious question. Ultimate Goal- To have me and my family enjoy 'Life' being healthy. To have an abundant of wonderful experiences that we each can look back and share with one another, and say "WOW we did it, we have prospered financially to invest in our ventures and succeeded in each of our experiences. To travel by touring around the world and meet and greet others cultures and to share great musical experiences with one another. To live my Life to the fullest in great Harmony. And to achieve this goal I only need to reflect being real in my Life, my love and in my music with my wonderful team that is apart of me. Shared with my new family of supporters around the world. May you're goal be achieved by "BELIEVING IN SELF"

(MK) What advice would you give the young girls wanting to pursuit a career in music?

(MIRRAH) Ladies, please be alert at all times and don't given in, into anything. Make sure you always have an adult at present when you go to the studio, and to not believe the hype. Be serious, this is not a game it's a business!!
When you have someone that is positive in your team and is tutoring you to foward your career to great heights, LISTEN, this business is about being aware and following directions to perfect your craft. Leave your ego at the door, and love your craft. Be in this business to evoltionize the sounds on radio. Be in this business to be apart of Music's 'Herstory'. Don't sell your soul short, for you to gain fame be recognized for Art.
