(BM) Yeah thanks

(MK) What should you fan be expecting with this new upcoming refering to new style,new featurings.....

(BM) Yeah well this album is always a new style because im always trying to evolve in the music is up to me is like ..
new style New type of features in the album like D'Angel, Valentine, this girl from jamaica "Alene" she's new dancehall R&b
Im sure you've heard about her.She's under the Dan label. So you know Its like having different people on the album creating
new era yuh know,for new fans and for people to listen to new artists to get a sight of the Female scene on the dancehall
its for me to take it to that level.

(MK) Wich song on the album is your favorite?

(BM) uhm To be honnest i do not know of a song on the album that i love more then a next song because all the song has
different meaning different feelings and takes from different experience so each and every experience is like special
feeling for I and I for making a song about it so you know i dont really have a special song on the album.

(MK) Where do you get all the inspiration from? is it from personal experience?

(BM) Not really From the people, people do things that other people fraid to speak up I am not that person i will talk about it that i feel.
Valuable To make a music.


(MK) As an artist we all know that the media and people around love find trash to print it and publish
on the internet or on papers, how are you handling all that.

(BM) Well you see the people come out with negative you cant not fight negative with negative
you have to keep jah and your head strong and be positive so Every negative promotion is still promotion because there is no such news as bad news...The only bad news you have is the person is actually dead yuh nuh come back. that is the worst news. No publicity is bad publicity.
Dem write about you People read about you and people can read sense and none sense You haffi thank people for that because You cant not stop the media from weh yuh call it,Rumours, propagans all of these you cant not stop it. Yuh know. that whats the bad thing is. The milion good thing but they dont write about the good thing they write about the bad news that they hear about you They dont have the courtesy to call and find out they
just print it.

(MK) Are you planning on having jermaine squad in any of your video

(BM) Uhm And planning to have who?

(MK) Jermaine Squad the dancers

(BM) I only recall one dancers. and his name is John Hype.
Jermaine squad is just a group from black roses crew not really one of friends but i dont keep ennemies in the
dancehall scene You know I dont work with jermaine squad.

(MK) Wich newest dances that you rate out there?

(BM) Alright You see the dancing thing that everybody coming up with as dancing
i am the one who started with it it as dancers Bogle was the only dancer in jamaica Until i find john hype. John Hype is the dancer that revolunize dancing i really Jermaine Squad, ah ding dong all come from john hype. The dancers mi ah rate is a shelly belly and blaze blaze and
they are original and they create one style you know


(MK) Tell me about your conversion to Rastafarianism and how did it affected your music.

(BM) Yeah well i never convert to rastafarian i was born as ethiopian orthodox my grand father is the president of the ethiopian orthodox federation movement from jamaica to Ethiopa itself
my father is a rasta i never convert i was born that way but as a youth going to school not for me to have a twisted mind but a straight mind Open mind about life they teacher ah Teaching the basic of math and english so then i evolve i put up my locks at the age of 21 because its not choice of me its just my life beenie man living the youth life you know going to school playing football doing all these things. Graduating with Honor.
You know Face the world not in the disguise but the real me So this is the real me not a conversion its just me.


(MK) Your advice for The young people listen to your music all around the globe.

(BM) The advice is always in the music, be yourself respect yourself and be strong. thats all i have to say to the people
Cause The people know who Beenie man is, im not a self centered honnest person an easy and cool person easy its to everyone to realise That its good to know whats good and whats bad its good to know Im not boss of the people but the people are the boss of me Its to me to do good product good music The message is always what the people want to hear keep the dancehall alive Bob marley alreayd told us you are african to be unite africa is not only the land africa itself afri can is being black everywhere united states england europe Be strong be real be firm This is the message that im sending all over the world be yourself and respect yourself and everybody
