Marcus is a black man who was raised by a single father, a radio personality, who jumps from women to women. He falls in love and decides to marry wants to marry Lucia, a Mexican girl they are very in love however things go haywire when the family realises the infamous fiancé is black. They will have to beat the odds until their wedding day. Secrets will be revealed; love will be rekindled and found. Our marriage, your wedding.

This movie features lance gross, Forest Whitaker, Regina King, Charles Murphy and Taye Diggs . The story line was easy to follow; it exposes the raw reality of mix marriages, facing the racist jokes or simply the family not wanting the marriage because of that. What makes this one a bit different from your typical mix couple is that the two in love are both educated and come from families that are respected but still has prejudice. It involved no drugs, gangs or cheating. They brought the serious subjects with many laughable and cute moments. The actors did a great job although I feel Lance Gross could have done better, I couldn’t feel all of their emotions, the jitters meeting your future in laws for the first time but he did act the “puppy” moments well but what else could we expect from Mr Gross? The soft hearted ones, should keep their boxes of tissues. Nonetheless a fairly entertaining movie for those sleepless night.
